OBITUARY

 

 
Frank Kreutz


Frank Kreutz of Easton, Ct. passed December 10, 2012. Born in Czechoslovakia on September 29, 1935 to Joseph and Margaret (Pelczer) Kreutz, he was the beloved husband of Carol Gerek Kreutz for 53 years and father of Kristin Kreutz and Gregory Kreutz and his wife Michelle and grandfather of Destin and Leif of British Columbia.
Frank retired from Sikorsky after 39 years. He served as Jr. and Sr. Warden for Christ Episcopal Church in Easton, Ct. He was involved in Scouting and Indian Guides and a member of the Nutmeg Soaring Association. After retiring Frank became active with Habitat for Humanity.Frank will be best remembered for helping those in need and always being just a phone call away. He is also survived by a brother Joseph and his wife Janette of Phoenix, AZ., Uncle Bob and Aunt Grace of Cooperstown, NY, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, New Mexico, Michigan, Oregon, Maine and long time friends in both CT. and RI. Services will be private. Contributions may be made in Frank's name to Habitat for Humanity/Coastal Ffld County, 1542 Barnum Ave. Bpt. Ct. 06610 Many thanks to the rapid response of the Easton Police Department and EMS.Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
